DIGGING OUT TREASURE

Wisdom of digging out your treasure is like a
man who had two children and this man was
very rich but the children were lazy and
wayward. They couldn't do anything
successfully, and when the time came for this
rich man to rest in the Lord, the man sold all his
property and bought a land and called his
children, showed them the land which he
bought, also told them that all his treasures are
buried in the land they should dig it out for
their colourful living.
These boys were happy, thinking they will see
gold and silver immediately they dig the
ground. After their father had died and was
buried. They went to the fallow ground by
themselves to clear the bush · and dig the
ground in search of treasure, but to no avail.
They thought of their father's action and
discovered that the man meant to destroy the
spirit of laziness and waywardness out of
them. Armed with this knowledge, they
cultivated the land and harvested gold and
silver.
Friends, you have to dig the Holy Bible and find out your treasure. Your prosperity, success, peace and marriage are there, promotion, victory and your deliverance are there. The Bible is the Manuel for your successful living.

IF YOU ARE TIRED OF YOUR SITUATION, THIS FOR YOU

Are you tired of your situation? Are you feeling restless or distressed or lonely? Are you feeling sad or depressed? Why don’t you make yourself at home in the World of God where there is joy, peace, love, healing, deliverance, salvation and all of God’s blessings? Jesus Christ says to you, “Come to me, all you who are weary and burdened, and I will give you rest” (Matthew 11:28). In the world of God, there is rest. “…where the Spirit of the Lord is, there is freedom” (1 Corinthians 3:16). In the world of God there is freedom. “Peace I leave with you, My peace I give to you; not as the world gives do I give to you” (John 14:27). In the world of God there is peace. In the world of God, there is love (John 3:16). When you delight in God’s Word, you make yourself at home in the World of God and become more familiar with the way He speaks and with the way in which you answer Him with your life. When you pray, you speak to God. When you open your Bible and read with devotion, God speaks to you and when God speaks to you, changes are beginning in your life. He wants to think, talk, plan and act with you. He wants you to see life the way He sees it. He wants you to get His ideas and work with His projects. He wants you to get His opinion of yourself and others. So, make yourself at home in the World of God by talking to God and letting God talk to you for there can be no real communion or communication unless both partake in the conversation. When you learn what God has made you for and how He treasures your company, you will be content, happy and self-sufficient. Make yourself at home in the World of God today!

THE POWER OF INFLUENCEa

* Proverbs 13:20 – “He who walks with wise men will be wise, But the companion of fools will be destroyed.” A Christian must be careful of what he looks at because what if looks at can influence his thoughts and his thoughts influence his future actions. Every time we allow ourselves to think negatively, we speak negatively and act negatively. What we read on the pages of newspapers, see on television, what we hear from people and what our circumstances look like are all capable of exerting influence overour lives. However, through the Scriptures we can understand that the Holy Spirit is the best influence. So, what influence are you under? What is influencing your conversations, thoughts and purpose? Many have fallen because of being influenced by people who set a bad example. Negative examples are tremendous motivators for failurewhile positive examples are tremendous motivators for success. We don’t need to remind ourselves of the young ones who have been affected by the failures of their parents or the companies that have been severely injured by the mismanagement of their CEO’s. It is all around us and it ought to motivate us to seek out aworthy example. The question is who is in your life as a mentor, coach, father or friend to help youin realising your potential for no one can achieve extraordinary things without a mentor. The 12 disciples that became apostles in the New Testament had Jesus. Young Timothy had Apostle Paul. Joshua led a tremendous nation and won battle after battle but he had Moses as a leader to show him how to live. Elisha performed more miracles, signs and wondersthan his coach Elijah. However, Elijah was his example of keeping focused, being brave, believing God and doing the right thing. You are who you are by virtue of the company you keep. Love and righteousness do not start with people; they start with a relationship with God and then overflow to people. When you have a relationship with Jesus, you change and become a man who is directed by the Heavenly Father, not by the influence of others. So, choose your friends with care lest you become what they are. We leave you under the influence of the Holy Spirit and pray to meet you there again.
